World Congress of Angel Investor WBAF 2024 - Dress Code
Please note that the World Congress of Angel Investors WBAF 2024 is traditionally a formal affair. There are five main events to consider as you prepare your travel wardrobe: (1) Grand Opening Ceremony, (2) Global Fundraising Stage, (3) World Excellence Awards Reception & Gala Dinner, (4) World Congress sessions, including summit sessions and VIP lunches with ministers and, (5) Leisure time in Bahrain.
For Congress events
Men

For the Grand Opening Ceremony and other sessions: Professional business attire (suit/jacket/tie and dress shoes).

For the World Excellence Awards Reception & Gala Dinner: A ‘black tie’ event (a basic tuxedo, or any dark suit will work). Traditionally, the suit is accompanied by a white shirt, dark tie, dark socks and shoes.
Women

For the Grand Opening Ceremony and other sessions: Dress pants or skirt (knee-length), dressy blouse and jacket or business dress and jacket, appropriate business footwear.

For the World Excellence Awards Reception & Gala Dinner: Elegant evening wear.
For startups (both men and women)
attending the Congress and participants in the Global Fundraising Stage

Startups and entrepreneurs joining the Congress to pitch their businesses are expected to wear business attire, with or without a tie for men.

Caution: Even if you are a startup, shorts, baseball caps, jeans, sneakers, sandals, and sunglasses etc. are considered unacceptable for the World Congress and will not be allowed
